The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bulletzowich avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Boris Bulletzowich seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Head stuffs the takedown.
Bulletzowich on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Bulletzowich moves out of range as Head strikes.
Bulletzowich has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Head on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Head tries to get out of the position.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Bulletzowich connects with a nice short shot to Head's temple.
Head is staying active underneath Bulletzowich, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Head avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Bulletzowich.
Bulletzowich looks to land a strike but Head avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
Bulletzowich throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Head works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Bulletzowich stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Head swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Head looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

Head will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

and Head connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Bulletzowich darts in looking for a takedown but Head gets double underhooks and turns Bulletzowich into the cage.
Head digs a good hook to Bulletzowich's body.

and Head counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Bulletzowich thinking.
Crack Head has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Boris Bulletzowich.
Head ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Head scores with a crisp jab that stopped Bulletzowich in his tracks.
Head punishes Bulletzowich's body with a nice straight punch.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Head feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Bulletzowich sprawling to the canvas! Bulletzowich rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Head finish him?!

Bulletzowich is rocked!
Crack Head is winning the standup battle so far.
Head weaves into range and cracks Bulletzowich right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Bulletzowich goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Head is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.

Omega throws a right hand that misses
letting Bartlett counter with a right hand.
Bartlett throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Bartlett, right into the meat.
Bartlett looks to land a combination but Omega avoids it well.
Bartlett throws a hook but Omega blocks it.
Bartlett swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Bartlett takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Bartlett fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
A slapping leg kick lands for Bartlett.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Omega is defended easily by Bartlett.
We've been told by Bartlett's head coaches at Gizmo's Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Omega throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

Omega swats away the attempt to clinch by Bartlett.
Omega throws a big shot that misses.
Omega misses with an uppercut.
Omega throws a right and a left that Bartlett avoids nicely.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

A looping hook to the body misses from Omega. Bartlett does a little dance to reset his feet.
Omega looks to score with a jab to the body but Bartlett is just out of range.

Bartlett throws a jab but it's blocked by Omega.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The cut man is working on Kormack Omega's cut.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Bartlett paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Bartlett lands a big uppercut and Omega crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Omega looks OK. Bartlett waves Omega back to his feet!

Omega is rocked!
Bartlett shakes his hands by his side, trying to relax. Omega takes his eyes off the ball for a moment - Bartlett sees the opportunity and cracks him with a massive hook! Omega bends double and collapses on top of himself - he's out! The crowd are going absolutely nuts! Wow, what a knockout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:16 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Petey Bartlett!
