Meld shoots in but Kilmister avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Meld fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Kilmister avoids it really well and circles away.

Scaletta has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it.
Mancini is trying to control the action in half guard but Scaletta is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Donald Grub and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rolla misses with a double jab.
Kullervo is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Rolla with a body shot.
Rolla avoids a kick to the body.
A head kick misses from Kullervo.
Kullervo tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Rolla was well out of range. Poor timing from Kullervo.
Rolla swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Kullervo swings for the body but Rolla moves out of range.
Kullervo lands with a slapping head kick.
Rolla misses with a wild body shot.
Rolla looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Kalle Kullervo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rolla throws a big shot that misses.
Rolla feints a jab promting Kullervo to slip. Rolla then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Kullervo slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

It looks like Kalle Kullervo has been cut.
Kullervo ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Rolla moves away.
Rolla looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
Rolla throws the left hand but Kullervo avoids the punch easily.

Kullervo looks to throw the jab but Rolla is out of range.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Kullervo misses the shot to the body.
Kullervo slips a straight right by Rolla.
Rolla moves out of the way of the counter high kick fromKullervo.

Rolla throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Rolla jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Kullervo uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Rolla.
Kullervo takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Kullervo's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Rolla connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Kullervo scrambles back to his feet.

Kullervo is rocked!
Rolla flashes Kullervo a smile before throwing a beast of a right hand, straight down the pipe. Kullervo's eyes follow the hand right onto his nose, taking in it's full glory... and then darkness. Kullervo crumples to the floor! He's out cold! Rolla punches the air and yells at the top of his lungs - yeeeeeeeeeeah!!!! This one is all over!

After winning the bout, Ronnie Rolla thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
