Jorma throws a looping overhand right but Rosiakos ducks down to avoid it.

Poulsen stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Poulsen wants it to stay on the feet.
Pocc with a poor takedown
and Pocc takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Pocc darts in looking for a takedown but Poulsen gets double underhooks and turns Pocc into the cage.
It looked like Poulsen was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Vang Poulsen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tusing Pocc.
Pocc has his takedown stuffed
and Poulsen counters with a nice uppercut.

It's a brutal combination of punches from Poulsen! Pocc is backing up but he can't get away as Poulsen lands with one final shot to the jaw that drops Pocc and ends the fight. Great knockout.

John shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Monsoon fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. John sprawls well initially but Monsoon persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Monsoon seems to be working for a kimura but John defends the submission attempt.
We've been hearing that Monsoon has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.

Sclounce is trying to pull guard but Walsh has him pressed against the cage.

Walsh's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Walsh throws a nice inside leg kick.
Sclounce misses with a takedown
and Walsh counters with a stiff jab, followed by a cross and an uppercut! That's too much punishment for Sclounce to take - he tumbles to the canvas, blood pouring from his nose, barely conscious. That's the end of the fight! Great knockout by Walsh!

He tries to recover but Gentile pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Del Oeste is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

James has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Touch Of Death Combat Academy in the buildup to the fight.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Stanfield lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and James has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from James and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Stanfield has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Von Cranial decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
