Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sylvia misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Sylvia bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Cobb pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Sylvia back to the cage. Cobb follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

It looks like Slim Sylvia has been cut.

Cobb drops Sylvia with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Sylvia looks back up at him and smiles so Cobb waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Sylvia is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Cobb fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Sylvia is still on wobbly legs! Can Cobb finish him?
Sylvia moves out of range as Cobb strikes.
Cobb misses with an uppercut.
Sylvia throws out a counter right but Cobb avoids it with no problem.
Sylvia seems to have recovered his senses.
Sylvia looks up at the clock. Bad move! Cobb lands a right hand from hell, dropping Sylvia. Cobb pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tyson Cobb!
Tyson Cobb retains his heavyweight title!
A relieved looking Tyson Cobb thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
The defeated Slim Sylvia had this to say: 'Half of this game is 90% mental.'.
