Thrower shoots in for a takedown but Hughes shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Hughes throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Thrower throws a big counter combination but Hughes scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Hughes has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Hughes takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Thrower keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Thrower shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Hughes dodges the punch combination from Thrower.
Thrower is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and Hughes moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.
