Yaj has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Jones is landing a low percentage of strikes.

Yaj looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Nice takedown defense from Jones. No joy for Yaj on that attempt.
Jones lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Jones shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Yaj eats them both and turns towards Jones to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Jones uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Yaj.

and Pelle takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Pelle is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Maximus takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Wade throws the kick towards the body but Maximus avoids it.
Wade lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

It looks like DJ Maximus has been cut.
Wade circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Maximus to the canvas! Maximus doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Wade keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!

Boudain looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Perkele connects with a looping right hand.
Boudain connects with the punch.
Boudain thuds a left hand into Perkele's body.
Boudain tries to clinch there but Perkele circles away.
Perkele throws out a counter right but Boudain avoids it with no problem.
Boudain tries to clinch up but Perkele circles away and keeps his distance.
The fight stays on the outside here - Boudain looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
It seemed like Perkele was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Boudain lands a jab to the nose.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Boudain takes the fight into the clinch.
Boudain struggles to land a body shot inside as Perkele controls his hands.
Boudain goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Perkele swings wildly with an uppercut but Boudain uses good head movement to avoid it.
Perkele tries to break the clinch but Boudain is controlling the position.

Perkele is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Boudain screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
