The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Smith scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Smith cracks Adder with an elbow. That is naaassty.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Adder defending against the ground and pound.
Smith controls the position from side control.
Smith works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Adder looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Smith is working to tighten his grip on Adder's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Adder has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Smith is really squeezing tight and eventually Adder passes out! Smith breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

I think Pothier might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Numb. Piper has chosen Roddy entrance as his entrance music. Roddy Piper has the better chin. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pothier gets caught napping as Piper dives in and scores a takedown. Pothier manages to retain guard.

Piper has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Pothier is proving hard to escape from.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Piper wants to control from the top but Pothier keeps moving.
Pothier can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Piper controls the pace.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Piper has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Piper closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Pothier did well to prevent Piper getting side control.

Pothier has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Piper is working away from the top position though.

Piper sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Pothier's guard.
Piper is taking a breather. Pothier says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Piper is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Piper is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Pothier's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Pothier's back!

I would just about give that final round to Roddy Piper.
Well Piper has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Porter keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Webb's efforts to push away.

Porter drops down looking for an ankle pick but Webb pulls his leg out and moves away.

As Barakus looks to move away, Wolfe throws a big counter combo but Barakus just gets out of the way.

Wolfe went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Wolfe bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Barakus throws a hook but Wolfe avoids it easily.

Wolfe has clasped his hands together around Barakus's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.

Wolfe knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Barakus on the ground.
