We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Tessier has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Diaz jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Tessier walks away with a smile on his face. Diaz gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Blood has his foot on Beast's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Beast works his way back into a safe position though.
Oh Blood is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Blood has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Beast can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Blood seems to have got his legs back now.
Beast connects with a couple of short punches.
Beast works over Blood with some ground and pound from guard.
Beast slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Beast stands up over Blood, holding on to his feet. Beast throws the legs to one side and dives in with a huge shot that lands flush on the chin! Blood is out cold! Beast lands a couple more shots and the ref tackles him out of the way! What a brutal finish!

Kulina tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Jones throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Kulina.
Jones throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Jones takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Jones lands with a kick to the temple. Kulina shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Jones throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Kulina walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Kulina swings for the body but Jones moves out of range.
Jones will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Kulina swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Jones.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Jones scores with a one two! Kulina had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Kulina avoids the head kick by Jones.
Kulina changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Sloppy strikes from Jones. Those never looked like landing.
Jones pivots, looking for a leg kick but Kulina is out of range and Jones settles back down.
Kulina looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
JaMaine Jones is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Jones goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Jones has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Kulina finds it's way round the side to connect with Jones's head.
A punch combination from Jones misses.
Kulina swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
A big right from Jones misses.
Jones lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Kulina backs up against the cage.
Kulina takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Kulina lands a big head kick that sends Jones tumbling to the mat! Kulina takes a step backwards and waves Jones back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Jones is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Jones gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Kulina gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!

Viki pounces like a tiger and cracks Winkle with a vicious hook! Winkle is down but not out! Viki follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!

Agapov throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Agapov throws a right and a left that Fry avoids nicely.
Agapov finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Agapov tries to work over Fry's front leg with a kick but Fry checks it.

Agapov drops Fry with a beautiful combination! Fry stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Agapov is looking for the KO!

Fry is rocked!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Oh Fry is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Agapov cracks Fry's jaw with two stiff jabs then ducks low and throws a soul-severing right uppercut to the mouth!! Fry slumps to the ground with blood on his lips. The referee steps in before Agapov can do further damage! This one is done, son!

Barakus fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Barakus ducks right into an uppercut from Dali.
Dali lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Barakus misses with a takedown attempt
and Dali scores with a counter punch that sends Barakus to the canvas! Dali smells blood - he's punishing Barakus with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Barakus has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
