Valentine keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Jones's efforts to push away.
Valentine tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Jones avoids it.

Jones breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Valentine jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Valentine throws a nice looking combination but Jones bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
It looked like Jones was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Valentine.
Valentine takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

Valentine is working for a rear naked choke. Jones is not defending it well and Valentine has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Jones refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Jones's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!

More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Matienzo from any more punishment! Matienzo complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

Al As lands a really nice looking cross but Black seems unphased.

This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Black might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.
