As Hooligan tries to get set, Doyle tries to push him back and clinch up but Hooligan manages to avoid the attempt.
Hooligan lands a jab-cross combination.
Doyle throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Hooligan feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Doyles jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
English Hooligan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hooligan misses with a series of wild punches.

Hooligan lands a left and a right that send Doyle crashing to the mat, dazed. Hooligan thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Hooligan keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Hooligan feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Doyle sprawling to the canvas! Doyle rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Hooligan finish him?!
Oh Doyle is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Doyle looks up at the clock. Bad move! Hooligan lands a right hand from hell, dropping Doyle. Hooligan pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Viv shoots for a double leg takedown but Long sprawls well. He's pushed Viv's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Long feints the counter takedown.
Viv keeps the fight on the outside.

Viv feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
We've been hearing good reports from Viv's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Brunatny thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Gazelle if he has to take too many more of those.

Brunatny throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Gazelle crumples to the floor and the fight is over!
