The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sledgehammer closes this distance looking for a takedown but Nazir circles away.
As Sledgehammer tries to get set, Nazir tries to push him back and clinch up but Sledgehammer manages to avoid the attempt.
Sledgehammer stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Sledgehammer wants it to stay on the feet.
Sledgehammer dives in for a single leg takedown but Nazir sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Sledgehammer pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Nazir tries to close the distance and clinch but Sledgehammer swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Sledgehammer tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Nazir was well out of range. Poor timing from Sledgehammer.
Nazir shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Sledgehammer but Sledgehammer pushes him off and we're back to square one.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Nazir throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Sledgehammer was covering up waiting for the punch and Nazir finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Nazir working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Sledgehammer wants to stand up but Nazir is controlling him.
Nazir trying to control the position from guard on top but Sledgehammer is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Sledgehammer manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
Sledgehammer has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Nazir after a bit of a struggle.
Raheem Nazir has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hanny Sledgehammer.
A right hook to the body lands for Sledgehammer.
Nazir tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Sledgehammer just stands there and leans against the cage.
Sledgehammer changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Nazir fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Sledgehammer gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Nazir gets control of Sledgehammer's arms and successfully pulls guard. Nazir will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Nazir escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Sledgehammer gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Sledgehammer lands a big uppercut and Nazir crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Nazir looks OK. Sledgehammer waves Nazir back to his feet!

It looks like Raheem Nazir has been cut.
Sledgehammer thuds his right hand into Nazir's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Nazir is rocked!
Nazir drops his hands for a split second and Sledgehammer immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into Nazir face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. Sledgehammer follows up with a right hand that knocks Nazir into next week. He's out cold and this fight is over!

Arsett comes into a darkened arena with his song building. MGK- Till I die kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! That was a close round but I would say that Duc Minh Pham will probably get the nod.
