The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sledgehammer closes this distance looking for a takedown but Nazir circles away.
As Sledgehammer tries to get set, Nazir tries to push him back and clinch up but Sledgehammer manages to avoid the attempt.
Sledgehammer stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Sledgehammer wants it to stay on the feet.
Sledgehammer dives in for a single leg takedown but Nazir sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Sledgehammer pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Nazir tries to close the distance and clinch but Sledgehammer swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Sledgehammer tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Nazir was well out of range. Poor timing from Sledgehammer.
Nazir shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Sledgehammer but Sledgehammer pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Nazir throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Sledgehammer was covering up waiting for the punch and Nazir finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Sledgehammer manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
Sledgehammer has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Nazir after a bit of a struggle.
Raheem Nazir has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hanny Sledgehammer.

Nazir tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Sledgehammer just stands there and leans against the cage.
Sledgehammer changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Nazir fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Sledgehammer lands a big uppercut and Nazir crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Nazir looks OK. Sledgehammer waves Nazir back to his feet!
It looks like Raheem Nazir has been cut.
Sledgehammer thuds his right hand into Nazir's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Nazir is rocked!
Nazir drops his hands for a split second and Sledgehammer immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into Nazir face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. Sledgehammer follows up with a right hand that knocks Nazir into next week. He's out cold and this fight is over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Peidis fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Island.
Peidis connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Island with a poor takedown
and Peidis counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Peidis digs a good hook to Island's body.
Island throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Peidis's waist but Peidis gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Island off to one side.
Peidis now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Peidis just misses with a punch to the body.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Island.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mister Island. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A nice inside leg kick there by Peidis. That's going to slow Island down.
Island darts in looking for a takedown but Peidis gets double underhooks and turns Island into the cage.
Peidis fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Island looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Island attempts a counter takedown but Peidis avoids it well and moves away.

Island takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Peidis cracks Island with a right hand to the side of the head.
Island closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Peidis's guard.
Island thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Island stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Peidis swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Peidis tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Island drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Island as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Peidis screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Island! Nice submission victory there!
