It looks like Fabian Cortez has been cut.
Thomas has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Cortez is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Cortez misses with a takedown attempt - Thomas sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Cortez looks to throw the jab but Thomas is out of range.

Johnson parries the strikes from Makela easily there. Makela is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Johnson to escape.
Makela wants to control but Johnson is keeping him busy.
Johnson is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Dungeon Brawler Gym ($800/week) that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Makela working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Makela cracks Johnson with a big right hand but Johnson just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Johnson has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Makela is really squeezing tight and eventually Johnson passes out! Makela breaks the hold and jumps onto the ropes to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

Qfc seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.

Mumu throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Qfc sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Mumu throws the kick towards the body but Qfc avoids it.
Mumu lands with a nice body kick.

Mumu fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Mumu lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
