Banks looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!

Travis Banks seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Loressi rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Banks moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Loressi has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Banks closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Loressi quickly recovers to half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Nerve in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.

Pinched Nerve comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.

McDaniels rushes Ferhatbegovic with punches - Ferhatbegovic moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Ferhatbegovic goes down! McDaniels follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!

Medina sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Grey is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Medina is staying active underneath Grey, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Medina wants to get back to his feet but Grey drags him back down.
Grey looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Medina is looking to regain half guard here but Grey keeps moving and retains side control.
Medina is not content to let Grey control the position.

Medina is pushing Grey's head away, looking to escape. Grey manages to hold on to the position though.

Grey is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Medina knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Grey is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Medina is just riding it out for now. Grey eventually gives up the hold.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

No joy there for Medina, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Medina throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Grey closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Grey lands in his opponent's guard.
Medina not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Grey is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Medina can do to turn this around?

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Messer has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Makoa - Hilo Cheapest Gym. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.

Messer is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Anderson drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Anderson as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Messer screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Anderson! Nice submission victory there!

Arn Anderson is the new super heavyweight champion!
Post fight, Arn Anderson stared into the camera and said 'The ANDERSON ERA is in effect!!!! No one is safe from the terror of THE ENFORCER!!'.
Jeff Messer was interviewed post fight and said 'Back to the under brush for me to train...'.
