The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Waters dives in for a single leg takedown but Sanchez sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Waters changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Sanchez tries to avoid it but Waters manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Sanchez to the ground. Sanchez escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Waters throws an elbow that misses. Sanchez uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Waters's guard. Nice move by Sanchez!

Sanchez wants to control from the top but Waters keeps moving.

Sanchez has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Sanchez stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.
Waters shoots in and drives through. Sanchez sprawls well.
Sanchez tries to counter by closing the distance.
Chief Waters has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Well Sanchez has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
