The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Davis clinches up with Lao and pushes him back against the cage.
Lao is working for takedown but Davis is calmly controlling the position for now.
Davis gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Davis lands a damaging elbow.

It looks like Karnak Lao has been cut.
Davis connects with a knee to the head.

Davis creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Lao's defenses.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Davis is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Davis is pressed up against the cage. Lao has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Davis down to the mat. Davis avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Karnak Lao. That's going to take a lot out of him.

On his way into the cage it seems that Dax Baxter has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Dax Baxter seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baxter scores with a nice strike.
Sloppy strikes from Baxter. Those never looked like landing.
Baxter looks to land a combination but Plesoun avoids it well.
Baxter scores with the left hand. Plesoun knows he should have avoided that one.
Baxter has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Baxter fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Plesoun on the side of the head.
Baxter takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

Dax Baxter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Plesoun turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

The ref is looking closely - Reid is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Reid is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.

Fazeli has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Joints is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Joints goes for a takedown in the clinch but Fazeli prevents it.
Fazeli has Joints pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Joints manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Fazeli is working for takedown but Joints is calmly controlling the position for now.
Fazeli wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Joints has him pressed against the cage.

Joints is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Fazeli can't fight it off and eventually Joints manages to take the fight to the floor. Fazeli looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Keon Fazeli will probably get the nod.
