The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lizotte tests Dood's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Lizotte throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Dood seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Lizotte fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Dood looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Lizotte is fending him off so far but Dood persists. Nope, Lizotte circles away and we're back to standing.
Dood fails with the takedown.
Lizotte lands a nice leg kick that just misses Dood's sensitive parts.

Tucker takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Ignatowski feints and then cracks Tucker's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Tucker down.
It looks like Ignatowski has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.

Oh Ignatowski is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Ignatowski gets tagged by a hook that puts him to sleep! Tucker points and yells something to his unconcious foe before strutting off. Ignatowski wakes up just in time to hear Tucker thank his coaches in the post fight interview.

Marques looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Undercard bout

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Niko Alzate (ranked 1519 p4p, 219 weight class) and James McGuire (ranked 1846 p4p, 256 weight class). McGuire is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Metallica - Enter Sandman . These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.
