Chimper changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Thunder Rolls tries to avoid it but Chimper manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Thunder Rolls to the ground. Thunder Rolls escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Meallan gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Rangel wants a takedown.
Rangel has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Meallan is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Meallan stops a takedown attempt from Rangel.
Sheamus Meallan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gabriel Rangel.
Rangel goes for a takedown attempt but Meallan pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Meallan clinches with his opponent.
Meallan gets underhooks to prevent Rangel's takedown attempt.
Rangel drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Meallan gets the underhooks and prevents it.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Meallan.

Rangel has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Meallan avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Meallan presses Rangel against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.

Rangel drops down looking for an ankle pick but Meallan pulls his leg out and moves away.
Meallan slaps away a takedown attempt from Rangel, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Rangel closes this distance looking for a takedown but Meallan circles away.
Rangel misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Meallan cracks Rangel with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Meallan lands with a massive overhand right! Stick a fork in Rangel - he's out cold! Ermm... I think I just mixed my metaphors but yeah... That was a nice KO! Big win for Meallan!

Coates is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Williams has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Coates is looking to defend but Williams has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Coates! Williams pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Coates taps out and this one is all over!

Hogan fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Messer avoids it really well and circles away.

Messer pushes Hogan up against the cage in a clinch.

Hogan pulls Messer into guard.
Messer looking to sit in guard and control but Hogan gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Messer controls Hogan momentarily but Hogan frees himself.
Messer keeping moving, preventing Hogan from controlling successfully.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hogan scoring with some ground and pound.
Messer wants to control the position but Hogan says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.
Hogan stops Messer from getting back to his feet.
Hogan has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Hogan working over Messer with some ground and pound. Messer looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Messer really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hogan. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Hogan looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Messer tries to roll over but Hogan keeps him under control.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Messer can do anything to dispel that myth.
Messer has hold of Hogan's hands but Hogan slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Messer is not content to let Hogan control the position.
Hogan is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Hogan is looking for a kimura here.
Messer wants to control but Hogan is keeping busy.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hogan is keen to just control but Messer is a slippery customer.
Messer taking some punishment here, with Hogan in his half guard.

Hogan lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Hogan lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Messer quite badly. Messer pulls Hogan in close trying to recover. Hogan postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Messer on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Messer doesn't seem to be complaining too much.

Hulk Hogan took to the microphone after his victory and thanked his sponsors, Knockdown Clothes for their support in the buildup to the fight.
Jeff Messer spoke after the fight, saying 'Back to the under brush for me to train...'.
