The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Foged instigates a clinch.
Annunziata presses Foged against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Foged told us before the fight that he's been working on his elbows. An under utilised technique these days - let's see if it can sway the outcome of the fight.

Foged pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Annunziata on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Foged using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Annunziata has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Annunziata lands with a massive overhand right! Stick a fork in Foged - he's out cold! Ermm... I think I just mixed my metaphors but yeah... That was a nice KO! Big win for Annunziata!

Ciro Annunziata decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
