Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Clemence Nassibu!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Attish Mubeen!
The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Illya Tyunina and Valeri Chadov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nassibu misses with a takedown attempt

and Mubeen counters by clinching up.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Nassibu presses Mubeen against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Nassibu has Mubeen pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Mubeen manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Mubeen tightens his grip and picks Nassibu up, before dumping him to the ground. Nassibu manages to land in guard.

Nassibu is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Nassibu not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Nassibu is breathing heavily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mubeen not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Let's hope that Mubeen has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Mubeen keeps the fight on the outside.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Nassibu changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Mubeen tries to avoid it but Nassibu manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Mubeen to the ground. Mubeen escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Mubeen lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Nassibu.

Nassibu goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Mubeen is trying to trip Nassibu. He has hold of a leg but Nassibu is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Mubeen persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Mubeen wants to stand but Nassibu is controlling his posture from full guard.
Nassibu is trying to keep Mubeen in close.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Mubeen stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Nassibu swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Nassibu escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Mubeen gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Mubeen engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Mubeen's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Attish Mubeen dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.



Nassibu gets caught napping as Mubeen dives in and scores a takedown. Nassibu manages to retain guard.
Mubeen throws a big right hand that misses.
Mubeen controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Mubeen postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Nassibu has momentary wrist control but Mubeen slips an elbow through the middle.
Nassibu throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.

Nassibu controls Mubeen momentarily but Mubeen frees himself.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Mubeen slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Nassibu fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Mubeen avoids it really well and circles away.

Mubeen throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Nassibu was covering up waiting for the punch and Mubeen finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Mubeen is in close to Nassibu's body, working some short punches and elbows.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Mubeen lands a nice short elbow.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Mubeen is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Mubeen looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Mubeen throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Attish Mubeen showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!



Mubeen shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Mubeen showed some decent athleticism there.
Nassibu wants to control but Mubeen is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Attish Mubeen has got the better of the ground game so far.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Mubeen cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Nassibu is working to get back to half guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Mubeen takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Nassibu tries to lock up and control but Mubeen gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Nassibu is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
The referee warns Nassibu that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Mubeen scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Nassibu?

Mubeen lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Oh Nassibu is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Mubeen lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Mubeen postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Nassibu in real trouble here! The ref calls for Nassibu to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
