The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Sandra Marshall and Michael Johnstone.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ponkan gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and The Platypus counters with a nice low kick that buckles Ponkan's knee momentarily.
The Platypus leaves Ponkan with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Ponkan shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has The Platypus pinned against the cage. The Platypus gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Perry The Platypus has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Por Ponkan.
