Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dion Frost!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Adrian Stoneheart!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Stoneheart rushes Frost and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Frost jumps into guard, dragging Stoneheart to the mat.
Stoneheart showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
Frost is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Stoneheart stands up from guard. Let's bang!

Stoneheart scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.

Stoneheart decides to stand back up. Stoneheart steps back and let's Frost get back to his feet.
Adrian Stoneheart seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Stoneheart closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Frost's guard.
Frost controls Stoneheart momentarily but Stoneheart frees himself.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Frost is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Stoneheart is controlling him.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Frost manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
Stoneheart is trying to push Frost away but Frost has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Stoneheart just leaning against Frost, taking a breather.
Frost misses with a punch on the inside.

Stoneheart manages to pull guard.

Stoneheart striking off his back but it's not causing Frost any problems.
Stoneheart utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Frost throws a big right hand that misses.
Frost with a flurry of punches that miss.
Frost wanted to stand there but Stoneheart had control of the position.
Stoneheart not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Stoneheart is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Frost working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Stoneheart feints and as Frost raises his hands in defense, Stoneheart changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Frost is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Stoneheart trying to control but Frost is working from the bottom.
Stoneheart slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Frost wants to get back to his feet but Stoneheart is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Stoneheart accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Stoneheart slips nicely into half guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Stoneheart stands up from half guard.

Stoneheart changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Frost looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Stoneheart decides to stand back up.

Stoneheart rushes Frost and presses him up against the cage.
Stoneheart can't break the clinch.

Stoneheart gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.

Frost has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Stoneheart is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.

Stoneheart jumps guard and drags Frost to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Frost lands a couple of decent looking shots.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Adrian Stoneheart will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Frost checks the leg kick.

Stoneheart gets the takedown into side control.

Frost explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!
Dion Frost is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Stoneheart throws a series of strikes that have Frost backpedaling.

It looks like Dion Frost has been cut.

Stoneheart looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Frost is looking to stand back up but Stoneheart counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Frost.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Frost throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Stoneheart is looking to take a break and control but Frost is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Stoneheart thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Frost's head.

Stoneheart drops an elbow to the side of Frost's head.

Stoneheart wants to work for an arm triangle but Frost is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Frost trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but Stoneheart manages to pass to mount!

Stoneheart is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Frost is surviving well by controlling Stoneheart's body position as best he can.

Stoneheart throwing strikes here but Frost is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Frost manages to regain half guard. Good work.

Stoneheart seems to be working for a kimura but Frost defends the submission attempt.
Stoneheart throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Stoneheart seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Frost does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Stoneheart stops Frost from getting back to his feet.
Stoneheart perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
We've been informed that Stoneheart has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
Frost trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but Stoneheart manages to pass to mount!

Frost tries to lock up and control but Stoneheart gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Frost really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Stoneheart thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.

Stoneheart misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Stoneheart stands up from mount. Strange move.
Frost shoots for a double leg takedown but Stoneheart sprawls well. He's pushed Frost's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Stoneheart scores with a body shot.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Stoneheart pushes Frost up against the cage in a clinch.
A frustrated look appears on Stoneheart's face as he tries to break the clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Adrian Stoneheart showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The cut man is working on Dion Frost's cut.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!


Stoneheart misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Frost walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Stoneheart pushes Frost up against the cage in a clinch.
Frost stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Frost wants a takedown.
Stoneheart is trying to force a seperation but Frost has the dominant position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Stoneheart breaks the clinch.
Stoneheart throws a perfectly timed hook that sends Frost crashing down! Frost tries to stagger back to his feet but Stoneheart just hammers him until the ref stops the fight! A confused Frost asks the ref what just happened. Poor fella.
