Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sam Sicila (ranked 25494 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rory Fowler (ranked 7767 p4p, 0 weight class). Fowler has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. On his way into the cage it seems that Sam Sicila has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Sam Sicila seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sicila shoots in for a takedown but Fowler shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Jeez, both these guys look absolutely knackered already, that's not a good sign!
Fowler misses with a jab, cross combination.

Sicila gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Sicila breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Fowler is looking to clinch but Sicila is avoiding it.
Sicila shoots in looking for a takedown but Fowler manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Sicila's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Fowler is trying to break free.

Sicila ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Sicila no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Sicila manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Fowler manages to get himself to full guard.

Sicila looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Sicila slips a nice elbow through Fowler's hands, connecting with Fowler's forehead.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Sicila is looking to take a break and control but Fowler is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Sicila is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Fowler doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Sicila.
Fowler scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Sicila manages to mount him!

Fowler takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

Sicila has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Fowler's face.
Sicila has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Fowler really wants to buck Sicila off and get back to his feet.
Sicila with shots to the head and body - Fowler looks very uncomfortable down there.
You get the feeling that Fowler really doesn't like being in this position too much.
