Beerus drops his hands for a split second and Ball immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into Beerus face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. Ball follows up with a right hand that knocks Beerus into next week. He's out cold and this fight is over!

A very excited looking Wrecking Ball rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.

Dalton shoots in looking for a takedown. Snus tries to sprawl out of it but Dalton keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Snus manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Dalton misses with a takedown attempt - Snus sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Niyotrong connects with a leg kick. Swearengen looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brooklyn Brawler (ranked 1008 p4p, 151 weight class) and Damien OQuinn (ranked 1100 p4p, 164 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Brawler might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Beastie Boys- No Sleep till Brooklyn. OQuinn has chosen Blac Youngsta - Late as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brawler swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by OQuinn.

We've been told by Brawler's head coaches at Lovelair Muay Thai/MMA that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
OQuinn misses with a shot to the body
and Brawler connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

It looks like Damien OQuinn has been cut.
OQuinn lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Brawler backs up against the cage.

It looks like Brooklyn Brawler has been cut.
Brawler scores with a nice head shot.
Brawler lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
OQuinn throws an overhand right that lands on Brawler's shoulder, as Brawler tries to avoid the shot.
Brawler swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
OQuinn displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Brawler throws out the jab.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
OQuinn looks to score with a jab to the body but Brawler is just out of range.

and Brawler counters with a left to the body.
OQuinn swings and misses with a hook to the body.
It looked like Brawler wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
OQuinn dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
OQuinn shoots in looking for a takedown. Brawler tries to sprawl out of it but OQuinn keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Brawler manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

OQuinn throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Brawler slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Brawler bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
OQuinn swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
enabling Brawler to counter with a crisp jab.
OQuinn looks to land a combination but Brawler avoids it well.

Brawler thuds a left hand into OQuinn's body.
Sloppy strikes from OQuinn. Those never looked like landing.
Brawler swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

The fight stays on the outside here - OQuinn looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
OQuinn takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Brawler lands with an uppercut that bounces OQuinn off the cage and back into range.
The fighters circle momentarily. Brawler darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

The cut above Damien OQuinn's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
OQuinn will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Brawler moves out of range as OQuinn strikes.
Brawler uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by OQuinn.

OQuinn's coach down at Touch Of Death Combat Academy was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on OQuinn's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Nice straight punches there by Brawler. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Brawler.

Damien OQuinn's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Brooklyn Brawler seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
In defeat, Damien OQuinn stepped up to the mic, saying 'i m retiring'.
