Undercard bout

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Because I Can (ranked 4710 p4p, 370 weight class) and Khal Stark (ranked 2303 p4p, 228 weight class). Stark has chosen The River Dragon by Nevermore as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Stark isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. I Can stacks Stark on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by I Can!

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
I Can is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Stark will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

Holmes drops his hands momentarily and Gomu needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips Holmes just on the top of the head. Holmes drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in Holmes - he's done!

Chernokov ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Thong Song moves away.

It looked like Chernokov wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Thong Song tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Chernokov swivels and escapes.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Chernokov.
Thong Song sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Thong Song has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Chernokov is working away from the top position though.
