Philippoussis lands a big right hand that sends Callen crashing to the mat! Philippoussis stays standing though and waves Callen back to his feet!

It looks like Bryan Callen has been cut.
Philippoussis is stalking Callen. Callen circles to his left. Keeps circling left. Bam! Straight right from Philippoussis, and it's lights out! Callen really payed the price for that rookie mistake.

Faioanaka is trying hard to land a takedown here. Heikkinen sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Heikkinen connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

Heikkinen steps into range and cracks Faioanaka with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Faioanaka flops backwards and Heikkinen dives into his guard looking to finish!

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Faioanaka is looking to stand up but Heikkinen isn't so interested in that idea.
Faioanaka is still in real trouble! Can Heikkinen finish him?
Heikkinen arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Faioanaka's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!

Alviso looks for a takedown but Shain sprawls well.
Shain lands a really nice looking cross but Alviso seems unphased.
Shain bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Alviso's head backwards.
Alviso tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Shain counters with a good low kick that Alviso was not able to check.
Shain pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Alviso throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Shain's waist but Shain gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Alviso off to one side.
A little jabbing left from Shain on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Shain lands an overhand right.
Alviso shoots in but Shain avoids the takedown attempt easily.

and Shain counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Shain throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

Oh Alviso is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Shain throws a monster overhand right that drops Alviso! Shain follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!

Yu throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck McDonald on the side of the head.

letting Yu counter with a right hand.
McDonald shoots in looking for a takedown. Yu tries to sprawl out of it but McDonald keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Yu manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Basket Case walks straight into a right hand from Cadman - that's dropped him! Cadman jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Basket Case from any more punishment! Basket Case complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
