The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thai wants to clinch up but Kamei keeps it at a distance.

Thai's coach down at Sydney Combat Method was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Thai's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Kamei scores with a hook to the body. Thai takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Thai doesn't manage to clinch there - Kamei circles away.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Thai lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Kamei has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Kamei and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

BOOM! Kamei lands a beautiful left hook that drops Thai. Thai tries to recover but Kamei is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Thai lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dai Zexi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Krit Leekpai!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Topper Green and Ben Hemmingworth.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zexi misses with a straight right.
Zexi walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Leekpai stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Leekpai wants it to stay on the feet.
Leekpai fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Zexi manages to avoid it.
Zexi feinted with a counter takedown.
Leekpai dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Leekpai stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Zexi chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Leekpai can pounce on him.

Zexi goes for a double leg but Leekpai avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Leekpai continues to drive forward.

Zexi bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Zexi has hold of Leekpai's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Leekpai seems comfortable defending it but Zexi has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Leekpai is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Leekpai is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Zexi couldn't care less - he's delighted!

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Arn Anderson (ranked 625 p4p, 26 weight class) and Mongolian Muslim (ranked 847 p4p, 32 weight class). Anderson comes into the arena with Thunderstruck-by ACDC blaring out of the sound system. Muslim has chosen Modern Mongolian Music - Sandy Desert as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Mongolian Muslim will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

A relieved looking Mongolian Muslim thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
In defeat, Arn Anderson stepped up to the mic, saying 'I didn't snap into a slim jim.....and it was my downfall.....I'LL BE BACK FOR THAT BELT!!'.
