We've been hearing good reports from Saibot's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Turner gets tackled into the cage by Damballah. Damballah maintains the clinch.

Turner breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Turner has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Damballah fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Turner avoids it really well and circles away.
Horrible takedown attempt by Damballah or perhaps it was just good defense by Turner, which made it look bad.
Damballah cracks a nice hook into Turner's ribs.

No joy there for Damballah, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
