and Zappa counters with a nice double leg into side control. Smith won't be happy with that.
A lull in the action here as Zappa stalls from top position.
Smith dodges the ground and pound from Zappa.

Zappa has hold of Smith's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Smith tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Zappa cranks the arm and Smith screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Smith, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

Nicu lands a brutal uppercut that launches Noye off his feet! Noye tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!

That was a close round but I would say that Brandon Vee will probably get the nod.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
