Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Nuno Pontes (ranked 5156 p4p, 517 weight class) and Max Onera (ranked 4011 p4p, 428 weight class). Nuno Pontes had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 186.2lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alison swings away with a body shot that misses
and Farina connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Farina bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Alison throws a poor cross that misses
and Farina counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Alison swings for the body but Farina moves out of range.
Benny Alison seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Farina scores with the left hand. Alison knows he should have avoided that one.
Farina takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Alison takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
