Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jim Leen (ranked 3306 p4p, 0 weight class) and Romulus Veres (ranked 3019 p4p, 344 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Jim Leen has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Jim Leen seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

With a record of 25 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Romulus Veres!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Daniel Franklin and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Veres throws a lazy right hand but Leen sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Leen tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Veres manages to circle out of the way.
Romulus Veres seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Leen looking to score a takedown here. Veres is defending well but Leen drives through and ends up in Veres's guard.

Leen has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
