The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Langley shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Langley showed some decent athleticism there.
Brown is looking to get back to is feet but Langley passes into side control.
Brown wants to get back to his feet but Langley drags him back down.
Brown takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

Langley wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Brown, who protects the arm well.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Well Langley has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kowal ducks down and throws a big overhand right - it lands flush on the jaw, knocking Rutten out cold! The fight is over!

No luck with that takedown attempt from Ueli.
Jorgenson throws out a counter right but Ueli avoids it with no problem.

Ueli feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Jorgenson is looking to stand back up but Ueli counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Jorgenson.

Horrible takedown attempt by Ueli or perhaps it was just good defense by Jorgenson, which made it look bad.
Ueli changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jorgenson tries to avoid it but Ueli manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jorgenson to the ground. Jorgenson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Jorgenson tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Ueli was well out of range. Poor timing from Jorgenson.

Jorgenson cracks Ueli with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Ueli looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Jorgenson finish him?
