The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wooten tries to move into range but Puto moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Wooten has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Wooten throws a wild hook but Puto just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! Wooten gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the cage! The referee jumps in - Puto raises his hands in celebration and walks away!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Pinchi Puto!
A very excited looking Pinchi Puto rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.

Kitano feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Peukalo sprawling to the canvas! Peukalo rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Kitano finish him?!

and Kitano rattles Peukalo with a well-timed uppercut counter. - Peukalo tries to back away and recover but his hands are down low and he gets tagged again, sending him stumbling down to the canvas. Kitano dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving Peukalo stiff and motionless on the mat!

Sendou Kitano was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Satoshi Tanahashi (ranked 376 p4p, 59 weight class) and Mikael Brophy (ranked 517 p4p, 84 weight class). Tanahashi kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Blood Stain Child - Stargazer. The crowd seem to be enjoying Brophy's choice of entrance music: Metallica - For Whom The Bell Tolls. Mikael Brophy told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!
