Maita looks to land a combination but Whittman avoids it well.

The fight stays on the outside here - Doom looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Watson moves out of range as Doom strikes.
Doom throws a hook to the side of Watson's head but Watson sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Doom thuds his right hand into Watson's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

and Parker takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

It looks like Corey Parker has been cut.
Parker tries for a takedown but Vonshredder sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
A decent looking cross lands there for Parker.

Parker has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Vonshredder finds it's way round the side to connect with Parker's head.
Parker has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

We've been told by Vonshredder's head coaches at Big Price MMA that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Vonshredder connects with a nice cross there... Parker is looking wobbly and Vonshredder recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Parker to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Vonshredder jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!

Hammer looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Hammer fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Bakalov avoids it really well and circles away.
Dragan Bakalov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chistopher Hammer.

Hammer swats away the attempt to clinch by Bakalov.
Hammer shoots in looking for a takedown. Bakalov tries to sprawl out of it but Hammer keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Bakalov manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stone misses with a series of wild punches.
Stone swats away the attempt to clinch by Cardoso.
Stone dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Cardoso moves in looking to clinch but Stone pushes him off.
Horrible takedown attempt by Cardoso or perhaps it was just good defense by Stone, which made it look bad.
Cardoso dives in and grabs Stone's left leg, looking for a takedown. Stone pushes down on Cardoso's head and hops out.
A looping hook to the body misses from Cardoso. Stone does a little dance to reset his feet.

Stone throws a left that rocks Cardoso and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Stone dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Cardoso regain composure!

It looks like Daniel Cardoso has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Stone is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Cardoso looks calm but he's in trouble here. Stone gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Cardoso is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Stone lets go of the hold and Cardoso can pop his arm back in it's socket.
