The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wiley throws a body shot but no joy.
Monroe looking to land some kicks to the body here.

Wiley fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Monroe sprawls well initially but Wiley persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Monroe is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Wiley scores with a couple of nice shots.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Wiley connects with a nice short shot to Monroe's temple.

Wiley has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Wiley uses his free foot to push down on Monroe's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Monroe.

Schlong has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Khamcham is landing a low percentage of strikes.

Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Vuori lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Honik can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Vuori and Honik drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Vuori.
