That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Brutus Brannagan.

The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Pulkkinen has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Pulkkinen and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

During a confident post fight interview, Pena Pulkkinen thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
Ueda Umanouke was interviewed post fight and said 'Nothing ventured, nothing gained. You can't do anything without risking something. I will be back to avenge my honor.'.
