Batts drops his hands for a split second and Sato immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into Batts face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. Van Der Veer had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 171.0lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!
