After the fight, Kenrick Nikil Jr was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
Randy Savage spoke after the fight, saying 'Hulk you coward I know you paid the judges off because your threatened by my grestness.....you can't stop me!!'.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Snowdon avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Daughtrey wants to clinch up but Snowdon keeps it at a distance.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Snowdon lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Snowdon throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Daughtrey stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Daughtrey darts in and clinches Snowdon up against the cage.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Snowdon has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
