Grimdal has left one of his arms exposed and Valur doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Grimdal screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.

Skrarski looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Smith with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Takano drops his hands momentarily and Reign takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Reign does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
It seemed like Takano was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Takano closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Reign throws a leg kick but Takano sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Reign tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Takano is able to avoid easily.

Reign slips under a jab from Takano.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Takano might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Reign has got the better of the exchanges.
