The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marlow shoots in but no luck this time.
Marlow fails to land the takedown.

Gold feints and as Marlow raises his hands in defense, Gold changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Gold changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Marlow looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Gold goes for a double leg but Marlow avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Marlow continues to drive forward.
It seemed like Marlow was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
