The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Built lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Built chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Built uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
A slapping leg kick lands for Built.
Built thumps Fortune with a low kick.
Built doesn't manage to clinch there - Fortune circles away.
Fortune looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Fortune avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Built fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Fortune has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Built turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

I was talking to Built's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

He tries to recover but Bandicoot pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Cheyenne is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Carlitto is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Painkiller. Both these guys have really solid chins. Barbosa throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Carlitto stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Barbosa feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Carlittos jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Barbosa throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
