Alviso was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.

Nazarethyan shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Alviso is trying to defend but Nazarethyan finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Alviso's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Nazarethyan is holding on here and Alviso must be using up a lot of energy. Nazarethyan has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Alviso gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!

Jerome Alviso opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.

No joy there for Carlyle, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Carlyle scores with a jab. Szczęsny acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

Szczęsny comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Szczęsny creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Carlyle's defenses.
Szczęsny is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Tropical throws an uppercut from hell that sends Sambor clean off his feet! He's out cold! Tropical stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.

Ky Jr shoots in for a double leg but Kyle sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Ky Jr has his feet on Kyle's thighs here. He's pushed Kyle off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Kyle screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!

Gaia Ky Jr was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
