The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gramm closes the distance and clinches up with Kurminowski, looking for a takedown. Gramm pushes Kurminowski against the cage but Kurminowski circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Gramm shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Kurminowski defends it nicely.
Kurminowski shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Gramm eats them both and turns towards Kurminowski to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

It looks like David Gramm has been cut.

Kurminowski takes the fight into the clinch.

Gramm gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Kurminowski counters by clinching up.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gramm tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Kurminowski avoids it.
Gramm gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Kurminowski.

Kurminowski's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Gramm closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Kurminowski's guard.
Kurminowski knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Gramm on the ground.
Kurminowski is looking to stand up but Gramm isn't so interested in that idea.
Kurminowski pulls Gramm in close to prevent any damage.
Gramm wants to control from the top but Kurminowski keeps moving.

Gramm drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Gramm as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Kurminowski screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Gramm! Nice submission victory there!
