Whitebeard swings for the body but Garcia moves out of range.
Garcia drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Whitebeard defends it well.

It looks like Rafael Garcia has been cut.

Whitebeard was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.

Garcia has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Sujitsu steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Sotobe. That one must have hurt.
A shot to the liver by Sotobe. Beautiful body shot.
Sotobe fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Sujitsu has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Sotobe lands a head kick. Sujitsu smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

Sotobe lands a big head kick that sends Sujitsu tumbling to the mat! Sotobe takes a step backwards and waves Sujitsu back to his feet - he wants the finish!
