Herz looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Herz looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Pfeifer is fending him off so far but Herz persists. Nope, Pfeifer circles away and we're back to standing.
Herz misses with a wild body shot.
Pfeifer throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Pfeifer uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Herz.
Herz connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
The crowd cheers as Herz lands an impressive looking overhand right. Pfeifer doesn't seem phased though.

Herz lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Herz keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Herz shoots in and drives through. Pfeifer sprawls well.
Ricardo Pfeifer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lukas Herz.
Pfeifer shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Herz eats them both and turns towards Pfeifer to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Herz wants to lay and pray for a moment but Pfeifer keeps working.
Pfeifer is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Herz asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Herz is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Pfeifer looks calm but he's in trouble here. Herz gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Pfeifer is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Herz lets go of the hold and Pfeifer can pop his arm back in it's socket.
