The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lyttle moves out of range of the strikes.
Lyttle appears to be looking for a big counter.
Perez pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Lyttle was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Lyttle throws out a loose jab but Perez uses good head movement to avoid it.
As Lyttle backs off Perez throws a huge counter combo but Lyttle manages to avoid it all.
Lyttle fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Perez manages to avoid it.
Lyttle misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Perez.
Perez connects with a right hand. Lyttle shakes it off.
Perez slips under a jab from Lyttle.
Perez moves out of range of the strikes.
Lyttle misses with a straight right.
Perez avoids a punch combination nicely.
It seemed like Perez was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Lyttle really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lyttle connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Perez's hands.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reyvolt fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Curtis throws a leg kick but Reyvolt moved away.
Reyvolt wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.

Reyvolt closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Reyvolt landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Curtis tries to kick Reyvolt off but Reyvolt keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Reyvolt is working for a submission of some sort.

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Steel might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Devereux has got the better of the exchanges.

Devereux has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Steel is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Devereux.

Well The Dog has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
