Xavier shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Xavier showed some decent athleticism there.
Hughes is controlling Xavier's trapped leg to prevent Xavier from advancing to side control.
Xavier tries to pass the half guard into mount. Hughes knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Xavier is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
