The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jones Jr closes the distance and pushes Johnson back into the cage.

Johnson has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

I think Van Wyk might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Ska-Rumba. John Big will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Big shoots for a double leg takedown but Van Wyk sprawls well. He's pushed Big 's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Frik Van Wyk.

Stallone looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Baxter is fending him off so far but Stallone persists. Nope, Baxter circles away and we're back to standing.
Baxter comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Baxter ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Stallone moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

A shot to the liver by Baxter. Beautiful body shot.
Baxter jabs Stallone right on the nose. Stallone blinks but takes it well.
Baxter connects with a nice looking jab.
Stallone changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Baxter tries to avoid it but Stallone manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Baxter to the ground. Baxter escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Dax Baxter has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Frank Stallone.
