and Good counters with a right hand to the body.
Good lands a glancing blow to the side of Karaage's head.

Karaage rushes Good and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Karaage tries for a takedown but Good manages to get underhooks.
Karaage jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Good walks away with a smile on his face. Karaage gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Jamal Good has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Blue Karaage.
Good scores with a decent looking hook.

Karaage throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Good tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Karaage is in Good's guard.
Good wants to get back to his feet but Karaage is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Karaage throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Karaage drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Good manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Karaage has Good in his guard.

Good has gone for a leg lock! Karaage slips out almost immediately though and dives into Good's guard.

Karaage in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Karaage stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Good swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Karaage with a flurry of punches that miss.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Karaage passes Good's left leg - he's now in half guard.

Karaage is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Good has managed to free his arm - good work.
Good looks like he's trying to stand up.

Karaage is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Good is just riding it out for now. Karaage eventually gives up the hold.

Karaage throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Karaage is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Good defends it well.
Karaage moves nicely into side control.

Good stops Karaage from passing to mount.
Good is looking to reverse the position.
Karaage tries to stand but Good is controlling his head.
Karaage moves into full mount!
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Good is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.

Karaage goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Good turns into him and now he's in Karaage's guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Blue Karaage will probably get the nod.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dock scores with a leg kick.
Nice body kick from Dock.
Dock takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Dock throws a body kick that misses.
Dock pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Griffin with the counter takedown but Dock avoids it easily.
That kick from Dock tenderised Griffin's leg. Griffin is trying to keep his angry face on.

and Griffin counters with a nice double leg into side control. Dock won't be happy with that.

Griffin tries for a kimura but Dock is defending well.
Dock is trying to get back to half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Dock tries to buck Griffin off but Griffin is having none of it.
Griffin advances nicely into full mount.
Griffin lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Dock is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Griffin pulls his head out easily.
Dock's coaches at The King's Road have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position.

Griffin is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Griffin looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Dock with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Griffin prevents Dock from improving his position.
Dock really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Griffin has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Dock defend it? Griffin steps over the head and cranks it - Dock is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Griffin!

and Ribbit counters with a good low kick that Ruas was not able to check.
Ruas has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Ruas looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Ruas shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Ribbit as he jumps to the side.
