The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

Maximus is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Holloway is trying to escape and Maximus transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Holloway is forced to tap! Nice work there by Maximus! Very nice indeed!

Brady changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Tonal looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Brady has hold of Tonal's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Tonal tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Brady cranks the arm and Tonal screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Tonal, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Hyde drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Hyde jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Hyde not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Hyde has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Hyde stands and throws Doom's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Hyde has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Doom is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Hyde yanks on the arm and Doom is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Hyde.
