The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Galtson dips to his left and cracks Al Haddad with an uppercut!
Galtson lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Al Haddad fails with an attempt to clinch.
Galtson lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Al Haddad throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Al Haddad ducks right into an uppercut from Galtson.
Galtson works over Al Haddad's head and body with a nice combination.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Galtson lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

Galtson leaves Al Haddad with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
And Galtson tries to counter it with a takedown but Al Haddad pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Al Haddad shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Galtson sprawls well. Galtson wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Al Haddad gets slowly back to his feet.
Galtson goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Al Haddad shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Galtson pinned against the cage. Galtson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

De Souza flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Vinysha anticipates the leg and manages to get behind De Souza and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Vinysha slips an arm under De Souza chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Vinysha has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Vinysha is squeezing on De Souza like an anaconda would it's prey. De Souza fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Toecur with a poor takedown
enabling Goon to counter with a crisp jab.
Toecur shoots in looking for a takedown. Goon tries to sprawl out of it but Toecur keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Goon manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Hefier Toecur seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Toecur throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Goon's waist but Goon gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Toecur off to one side.
Texas Goon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hefier Toecur.
Goon lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Toecur circles away quickly and effectively.
Toecur is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.

It looks like Hefier Toecur has been cut.

and Goon counters with a left and a right... and another left... and another!! That last one turned off the lights! Toecur has no idea who he is and is as he gazes up at the spotlights. Brutal knockout!

Lban fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Williams manages to avoid it.

Fitch ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Fitch no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Brown content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Fitch has locked up a guillotine! Fitch's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Brown is holding on here and Fitch must be using up a lot of energy. Brown has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Fitch gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
